The red dragon that was part of the ambush on the seas outside of Hardby
was not quite normal in countenance -- I thought that was the dragon you
were talking about.

We don't really know what's in this mountain yet, do we? Although I
admit it's unlikely to have more than one red in a small area, a
mountain of this size could house more than one especially if they are
working toward a common purpose. In any case, a flying battle is likely
to draw the attention of any in the surrounding mountains as well. I
think we're generally agreed that we don't want to do battle in the air.

Scouting this cave would certainly be sensible if we want to use it as a
haven.

Even if we find a way into a lair, we can certainly still use the
halfling-as-bait trick. :)
